For weeks, most have us have been working from home. When your kids are interrupting your Zoom call to ask for a snack or tell you they’re bored, maybe, just maybe, they’re getting an idea of what it’s like to work for a small business.

How to Play Pictionary

  1. The goal of the game is to guess what the “picturist” is trying to communicate through the pictures that they draw. Ideally divide into two teams and take turns guessing each round.
  2. Deal the cards to the players. Starting with the team with the youngest player, the picturist will pick a category and then draw what is on the card once the one-minute timer starts. Each card features four categories: Person, Object, Place, and Action.
  3. The team must try to guess what the picturist is drawing before the timer runs out!
  4. If your team guesses correctly, you get a point and then it is the other team’s turn to draw and guess.
  5. Remember, no words, numbers, gestures, and/or verbal/non-verbal cues may be used. The point of Pictionary is to draw pictures and guess what the word or phrase is!
