So Robert & I are working 24/7 to deliver Matenic to you and hopefully change how you look at events. Meanwhile, we also started Startup School, an online program by Y Combinator, which is one of the most prominent startup accelerators in the world.

Startup School will help us learn some exciting new things that will hopefully help Matenic become the global phenomenon that we mean it to be. Many of you said that Matenic would be especially helpful to you in a travel situation and connect to the locals through events — to us, that means that we can’t just focus on one or two countries as we originally planned, we have to take a global-first approach.

In other news, it was exciting to see Matenic featured on BetaList and Steemhunt- if you’re registered on either of those platforms and would be kind enough to give us a thumbs up and whatnot, that would be sweet. We were also featured on Trendhunter and got some nice words from them, so we’ve got all the encouragement we need for the week.

Sign up for our beta if you haven’t yet — we’re launching our first user survey soon to help you shape this project pre-launch. We are excited to hear your opinions!

If you have any questions until then, you can find us on Twitter, Reddit and Facebook.

Have a nice weekend y’all!
