What kind of student would you describe yourself as? I’d describe myself as a hardworking student who prefers visual learning.
What’s the hardest part about high school? Managing my time between all my homework and extracurriculars.
Looking back to freshman year, what would you have done differently? I would have used my resources better, like getting help from my teachers when I really needed it.
What excites you about college? I can’t wait to meet new people. Also, you know, the whole being on my own thing is exciting!
Any study tips? Start studying days before a test in little bits at a time. You’ll retain the information better.
How’d you hear about MathCrunch? A friend from my tennis team, Nick Elleman, suggested it to me after he saw my tweet about needing help in Pre Calc.
Describe your experience with the app.
The app was easy to use. I got connected to a tutor very quickly, and they helped me see what I was doing wrong in the problem and showed me how to solve it properly.
What do you think will be the future of education and technology?
Online interactive textbooks, I could see that in the near future… Where you can mark down material in the books just for your individual use, and the program itself can walk through it with you.
