This week in matic was filled with excitement and many activities from the team, it has been such a great week with a very dedicated team and community. after countless hours of hard work and focus ,the long awaited mainnet launch is here, a historic event in the journey of the matic project.the team began the week with an Ama with the light trail Rush communication lead Robert Hoogendoom.
Another well know name in the industry, Biconomy join the ecosystem as a Dapp partner validator.
The team supported the Chain runner hackathon, the matic team supported as judges and also made available a wide range of bounties to support the hackers.
Another big news came from the biggest exchange in the space, Binance announced that it was enabling isolated margin trading on MATIC/BTC and MATIC/USDT.
Also during the week, the team also announced a trading competition on the Binance exchange with a total prize of $50,000
it was announced that ispolink which is an innovative matchmaking recruitment platform has joined the matic ecosystem.
To celebrate the mainnet launch, Arkane network launched a competition for the community.
Frontier wallet which provides services for Defi joined the ecosystem to make the staking process very simple and seamless.
India technology icon infosys,which is also listed NYSE, joined as a validator
The community was so excited when the team announced that it has successfully created the genesis file.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and a sense of fulfillment when the mainnet went live, lots of congratulatory messages pouring in from different organizations and individuals, indeed it was a job well done and a dream come true.
