Matic staking goes live tomorrow 29th June 2020, are you ready with your matic ?it has been a great week leading up to the official lunch of the staking program, some of the activities that happened during the week in review incude.

The team in a continued effort to assist coding and young talents, supported code2create hackathon event which lasted 36 hours and had in attendance bright minds from India and other places.

The winners of the Ask me anything session with oropocket was announced also during the week, please check if you were selected among the winners and claim your price.

A proposal was initiated to use the matic network token as a collateral asset on makerDao, the community was encouraged to vote, this will be another significant use case for the project in the Defi space.

Co-founder and coo of matic made an appearance on Binance US telegram group to answer questions from the community, it was largely a very interactive session.

During the week in review, Binance US also set up a feature that enables people to buy matic on a recurring basis. weekly, monthly etc.

In a continued effort to futher educate the community on the technology, the team held the masterclass session that saw the likes of coinbase in participation, discussion was about the coinbase price oracle. The next masterclass session during the week also featured Nick fett who is the CTO of ethereum based decentralized oracle solution Tellor, the topic of discussion was ‘crypto and developing nations’.

Inblox Blockchain Eweekend webinar also took place,the focus of discussion was ‘Bringing Real-World Assets onto Blockchain’

The team supported NAMMA blockchain developers virtual meetup.

The matic Network Co-founder & COO Sandeep Nailwal, presented at the 2020 Digital Games Conference showcasing How Layer 2 will power the future of blockchain gaming.

The team held a live tutorial in preparation for the staking and delegation which goes live tomorrow, the team members were all available to take questions from the community.
