PUBLISHED: A Trip to the FairUn viaje a la feria at Huellas Magazine. The 1964 World’s Fair in Flushing, New York is the destination for two carloads of tourists heading out of Miami, Florida. The drivers are friends who must navigate the Eastern Seaboard in the days before I-95. They’re not familiar with the roads or the language and they have three days to get there. They hope their crammed station wagons can handle the journey, arriving in time for the grand opening.

Huellas Magazine is a bilingual longform magazine for emerging writers of Abya Yala (the Americas) founded in 2019.
