Get Your First Look at Ghost in New ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ Trailer
While you’re recovering from the bombast of Avengers: Infinity War, don’t forget that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is churning out quite a few movies between now and Avengers 4 (believed to be titled Avengers: Endgame as of this writing).
Next on the slate is Ant-Man and the Wasp, which actually takes place before the events of Infinity War, picking up where Captain America: Civil War left off. If you’re a comics fan, these sorts of time jumps should be old hat to you by now.
The plot sees Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) forming a partnership with Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) to fight off the industrial espionage of their new enemy Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen). As Luis (Michael Peña) succinctly describes the new big bad to Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), “She stole your tech. Now she wants to take over the world, or whatever.”)
Ant-Man/Scott Lang will also explore the reasons why he chose to side with Captain America, and the consequences of his choice, while he and Pym continue to search for Pym’s wife Janet Van Dyne, in hopes of finding and freeing her from the Quantum Realm.
Ant-Man and the Wasp opens in theaters on July 6.
