A Roundtable Discussion
Nearly 50 years after we turned America upside down with the Stonewall Rebellion, Compton Cafe Riots, and Dewey Lunch Counter sit-ins, we continue our struggle for liberation. As black trans people, we sit at the intersection of a multitude of movements: campaigns to fix prison reform, public health, police brutality, and the harassment of women and girls. I’m Cherno Biko, and I’ll be discussing these issues with four black trans/gnc/intersex leaders from the past, present, and future of our fight. Let me introduce you to:
