The Demon
is polite
ever the gentleman.
He is not the Devil
but appreciates
the compliment.
Thank you, he says.

Good and evil
meaningless concepts
not meaningless
irrelevant.
The Demon
just smiles
at the definitions.

When I look
in the mirror
closely
I see him
waiting
patiently
waiting.
