WE ARE BEAUTIFUL
We are beautiful
we are complete
we are whole
we need only
the affirmation
of ourselves
(well, maybe
from a few others
we are not alone)
but you the haters
can go *beep*
yourselves.
YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
I know when you look in the mirror
all you see are all your perceived flaws
but when I look at you all I see are all
the things that make you uniquely you
and all the things you don’t know
about yourself that make me smile.
We can keep it our secret if you like
but would that you see what I see.
