Still not over Heartstopper? You’ve stayed up all night watching the Netflix series and read the Webtoon it’s based off, but don’t worry. We’ve got 6 more LGBTQ+ stories for you to obsess over.

Always Human by Walking North

This is a story that reminds us that no matter the advancements in technology, we will always remain human. The story is set in a sci-fi world where people have access to nanotechnology, genetic engineering that allows them to upgrade their bodies and minds. Sunati, the main character in the book, has changed her appearance dramatically multiple times. She meets Austen who has no “mods” and we get to see how the two women fall in love and understand and accept themselves and each other. Even though the story is set in a sci-fi world, the human emotions behind it are raw and deeply moving.

Small World by Wonsun Jin

This is a cute love story between Julien and Robin who are simply navigating their day-to-day domestic life. It is best described as a simple, slice-of-life comic that makes us realize we need a little love to get us through the best and worst days of our lives. I love this webtoon not only because it is wholesome, but also because it gives a realistic story of a queer relationship. It takes us through the ups and downs and the little love victories any relationship is bound to go through.

#Blessed by M.Victoria Robado

Imagine trying to get over a bad break-up so you download a dating app and end up swiping right on a Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses. As if that is not enough, they inform you that by swiping right you have agreed to a contract and must agree to marry one of them to fulfill a prophecy about who will inherit the universe. Yes, that is the dilemma of Joanna, who gets to date seven hot gods.

Semantic Error by Soori Jeo

The story follows Chu Sangwoo, a computer science major and an inflexible and strict rule-abiding person. For a liberal arts group project, he ends up having to work with Jang Jaeyoung who is his polar opposite. If you are looking for a good boy-love romance with a dash of comedy, then Semantic Error is the webtoon to read. The best part is the webtoon was adapted and the live adaption is a must watch.

Mage and Demon Queen by Kuru

This story is one of the best fantasy sapphic love stories between Mage an adventurer and the Demon Queen Velverosa set inside a real-life role-playing game. While most adventurers wish to take the demon queen’s head, Mage wishes to seduce her and take her hand. Will her best laid out plans go array? You will have to read the webtoon to find out.

Castle Swimmer by Wendy Lian Martin

This is the story of two young sea creatures whose lives have long been destined by an ancient prophecy. One is believed to be a guiding light for his people, a Beacon who will lead them to a bright, prosperous future. The other is a teenage prince whose destiny is to KILL the Beacon so that HIS own people might thrive. They decide to make their own fate and end up falling in love. I guess the prophets never predicted a teenage rebellion fueled by love can be powerful enough to change one’s course of life.
