YouTube is always a great place to find content that we can relate to .This platform has enabled random people to open up on different facets of their lives and allows them to tell their stories in their own words. It is a great platform to talk about so many things that affect us on a day to day basis. There are amazing human beings who have decided to open up their own channels to discuss their sexual orientation journey and it has been refreshing seeing the authentic content they have been putting up on their channels. Here are a few YouTubers who are keeping it real while educating people on LGBTQ+ issues and challenges

Georgia Bridgers

This young, beautiful blonde is a LGBTQ+ advisor, lifestyle YouTuber, and content creator. She identifies as a bisexual and has dedicated her channel to be a safe, healthy place to have meaningful and important conversations on LGBTQ+ issues. She is not afraid to talk about things that are being ignored. She has covered topics such as internalized homophobia, and has answered questions her mom had about bisexuality. She also has a few videos up with her lesbian sister and they are really open about their sexuality. The best thing about her channel is that it is really fun, relatable and educational at the same time. It is never a dull moment between the honest conversations.

Keara Graves

Keara is a singer, actress, and an LGBTQ+ activists. She also identifies as bisexual and discusses this in depth on her channel. She discusses how she comes to terms with her sexuality even with a Catholic/Christian background. Her channel has covered topics like how to survive high school as a queer teenager and how to know if a girl likes you. It is a really calm channel that gives you that cool auntie vibe and makes you feel like you can ask and talk about everything.

Jessie B

Jessie B’s is a really cool channel that a lot of young adult women who are trying to explore their sexuality can relate to. Jessie B is unfiltered and unapologetic. Her YouTube is basically a sex education channel; it is not a conservative place where things are ignored. The conversations are extremely honest and are not afraid to call things as they are. Topics such as 10 Things I Wish I Knew Before Having Sex and Female Hygiene are eye opening. It is a new raw way that educates better than the sex education taught in schools.

Natalie Hatfield

Natalie’s channel is a bit different because she was married to her husband when she came out. This is a good channel for people who are coming out late in life and are wondering how to go about it. It cannot be easy coming out to someone you are married to, and especially when children are involved. The channel is new and you can follow Natalie’s life as she goes on to explore her sexuality, dealing with her divorce and co-parenting. There is never a right time to come out and one can be happy and with their sexuality no matter what age they are.

Travis Bryant

Bryant has given us a glimpse of what a day to day life of a gay man is like in his channel. He is open about relationships, break-ups and different life experiences he has had as a gay man. There are also emotional discussions — like when he confronted his dad for throwing him out when he was 15 because he was gay. He talks about how he became homeless and it shows how some parents have a hard time accepting their children as LGBTQ+. It has a feel good vibe and Bryant is a good storyteller. You will find yourself fully immersed in his stories.

Tarek Ali

Ali has a very inspirational charm about him, and through his channel you can really understand how hard it can be to be black and gay in America. His truth is relatable on so many levels and his journey to self love is moving. But at the core of it all, it reminds us why it is important to speak out because it can help someone realize they are not alone. His channel gets deep and positive. His process on dealing with sexuality and religion has started conversations that we really should be talking about. This is one of the channel that can help you on personal growth and challenge you to accept your truth.

Jammi Dodger

Jammi is transgender and has been documenting his transition from the start. His channel is a great source of information for people planning to go through transitioning or are undergoing it and want to know what to expect. He is really open about the challenges and the struggles one undergoes during transitioning. He answers questions that one might have about the whole process. It is very educative and the story telling is on point .
