My Inner Everest

I heard a mountain climber say she felt like being in the right spot in the Universe when she was approaching the top.

She also experienced “mountain hangover” while descending. Apparently she lost the feeling of peace, presence and purpose.

When I was in my adolescence, I thought that a really tough guy or girl climbs up Mountain Everest but doesn’t tell anyone about it. Just goes there and comes back home. But I didn’t climb anywhere.

When I grew older I started to see that mountain tops come in various sorts and sizes.

Perhaps you don’t need to climb anywhere, but find your inner mountain top, your Inner Everest. And be there all the time, in ordinary everyday situations. Without the ecstacy of going up and hangover of coming down.
