Here’s Your Ticket To Free Movies
Now that we have high speed internet in Maupin we can have access to all the resources the Southern Wasco County Library has to offer.
Inside the brand new Maupin Civic Center, resides the Southern Wasco County Library. The library is airy, light, and spacious.There are comfortable places to work and read. Librarian Bronte Dod gave me a library resource leaflet and set me up with my library card.
Besides reading material, you can also check out DVDs and audiobooks. If you prefer to enjoy the library digitally, here’s how.
With your library card you can access Libby. Libby is an online service that enables libraries to share audiobooks and ebooks for mobile devices and tablets.
Your library card also holds the key to streaming movies for free from the library movie provider, Kanopy. You are able to watch 10 films per month. Enjoy a diverse selection of films ranging from classics to contemporary from independent to documentary. There are even select titles from the Criterion Collection.
