Maverick Protocol integrates with LayerZero to Eliminate Cross-Chain Capital Inefficiency.
Maverick Protocol announces its upcoming native bridge for MAV token, utilizing LayerZero’s omnichain technology.
Leading DeFi infrastructure provider Maverick Protocol has brought its cutting-edge dynamic distribution AMM design to Ethereum mainnet, zkSync Era, and BNB Chain, in order to enable higher capital efficiency for LPs, projects, and protocols. Its early success on Ethereum mainnet serves as an important proof-of-concept for this new AMM design and the novel liquidity shaping tool, Boosted Positions. This month, Maverick also announced its utility token MAV and a ve-model that promises to bring greater precision and efficiency to ecosystem participants’ incentives, continuing its mission to make a better DeFi experience for everyone.
What’s next for Maverick? Maverick is now able to expand its footprint to improve cross-chain capital efficiency through a strategic integration with LayerZero, an omichain interoperability protocol that enables native cross-chain bridging. This integration will allow users to bridge MAV tokens natively between Ethereum mainnet, zkSync Era, and BNB Chain. The bridge solution is also scalable for future L1/L2 integration that Maverick deploys.
This integration between Maverick and LayerZero makes Maverick one of the pioneers of multi-chain DeFi. By supporting bridging natively in the MAV token smart contract, users can seamlessly participate in cross-chain governance and liquidity directing in a decentralized and secure way. Specifically, MAV supports the omnichain fungible token (OFT) standard built by the LayerZero. After the bridge is live, Maverick ecosystem participants can stake their MAV and vote with veMAV on any supported chain.
