Meet Mava: Maverick Protocol’s First NFT Campaign!
The Maverick team is very excited to announce our very first NFT campaign, in partnership with Project Galaxy!
This NFT is intended as both a symbol of our appreciation and a contributor badge for our early community members, who have given us valuable feedback on our testnet and helped us to spread the word about our project. The campaign will be open for two weeks. Anyone who completes the campaign tasks will be eligible to redeem the NFT when the campaign closes.
Ownership of this limited edition NFT will show the world you were here at the very beginning — An early adopter. An OG. A Part of the foundation of Maverick as we embark on our mission to reshape the landscape of global finance. It may also be used as the basis for other incentives and utilities as the project continues to grow and develop.

We would like to introduce you to our new NFT mascot, Mava the bull!
Mava symbolizes our confidence in Maverick and in DeFi more broadly: we are bullish about our future together! (WAGMI!)
Mava’s design also reflects Maverick’s brand values. The low-poly geometric forms and grid background were chosen to signify the innovative mathematics that are the building blocks of Maverick and its revolutionary AMM design. While the posture is both proud and strong, Mava’s face-to-face aspect and non-threatening demeanor embody the inclusivity we hold to be a core value of Maverick.

This NFT will be minted as an open edition. A maverick community member who completes a set of tasks by the campaign’s end will be eligible to mint a single Mava NFT. You will be able to mint the NFT by connecting your wallet to Project Galaxy after the campaign closes. You will not have to pay to mint the NFT, and you won’t even have to pay gas fees to claim it!
Our focus in this campaign is on providing an NFT that shows you were part of the first generation of Maverick community members, so only participants in this first Maverick NFT campaign will receive this NFT!
The NFT will be distributed on the Polygon network, so your wallet must be capable of interacting with the MATIC contract.
How to Claim Your Mava NFT
We are running this campaign through Gleam. There are 3 steps to claiming your Mava NFT:
Step 1: Complete a Iist of tasks through the Gleam campaign here.
Step 2: When you have completed all the other Gleam tasks, you will be able to unlock the final task, titled ‘Claim your Mava NFT.’ Here you will need to supply the wallet address you will use to claim the NFT on Project Galaxy.
Please make sure your wallet is capable of interacting with the MATIC contract. The address you supply here must match the address you will use on Project Galaxy.
Step 3: On March 31st, 2022, visit https://galaxy.eco/maverick-protocol any time after 11:59 PM UTC. Connect the same MATIC-compatible wallet to Maverick’s Galaxy space, and claim your Mava NFT to your wallet.
The campaign will run from 0:00 am UTC Thursday, March 17, 2022, to 0:00 am UTC Wednesday, March 30, 2022. To be eligible to receive the NFT, you must complete all the Gleam activities during that time. All wallet addresses deemed to have completed the activities within the campaign duration will be eligible to mint the NFT on Project Galaxy after Thursday, March 31, 2022.
