What is university life?

It simply means a step forward to independence. However, independence isn’t that common everywhere is it? Clearly we all face insecurities. They can be in different forms, be it financial, peer pressure, drug abuse or even maintaining a consistent GPA or grades.

I have always encountered people sharing with me their issues, and to them I am some sort of a counselor. That doesn’t mean I am not struggling- I am; in fact, I want to give up.

We were not born to give up, what is the purpose of life then? We all need to brace up and deal with life, university stress, and grades.

If you’re dealing with inconsistent grades-

· Do group studies,

· make a timetable,

· set your goals, and

· Seek help from your professors.

If you’re facing peer pressure-

· Face them

· Know what is right for you

· Change your people

· Take some action from someone superior

Relationship issues- This is a simple answer, prioritize what is good for you, because a relationship cannot interfere with your grades, you cannot cry over a boy or a girl- and end up getting an F when you have a bigger potential.

Financial issues- They are many clubs that have come forward in institutions to help in collection of finances that can help in the continuation of one’s studies.

One can always get a scholarship and maybe even community help.

Life isn’t about getting upset and insecure about things, it is more about how these things are shaping you to face the world outside which is more complicated and judgmental.
