Exercise

Sunday is always hike day — today we went for an urban “hike” with some friends (with plenty of distance) to get some delicious coffee beverage from The Coffee Movement. All in all 11km round trip — not too bad.

Highly recommend the Cocoa Cappuccino and Earl Greyhound

It was good to see everyone else was also wearing masks!

3D Printing

It was a big day for 3D printing, the bird feeder came out great! I’ll put it up once the bird seed arrives. Still figuring out if I’m going to paint it or not.

I also got my first request (two actually)! A friend asked for a black electric toothbrush holder to go with her new electric toothbrush — this was my first attempt with airbrush painting and it went surprisingly well though cleaning took forever to figure out.

Another friend requested a surprise and I had the exact thing in mind but it’s a long print. I started today and will be ready by tomorrow afternoon.

Coding

I started coding up an algorithm to lay out words in a grid to figure out what designs I can come up with for this clock — this costs $1.5k and only tells the time in 5 minute increments.

I’ll keep hacking on this, a few of my friends have done the same in the past too.

Other

Lindsay is planning a cross country road trip to Richmond, Virginia to visit her parents — we figure it’s safer than flying and sounds like a great time.

I got into the turnip market in Animal Crossing with all my friends — I’m not that into the game but the idea of betting sounded too fun to pass up. I’m all in with 30k bells. Here’s hoping for a spike!

Signed up to get early access to GitHub Code Spaces — seems really cool.
