November Community Update

Hi guys and welcome to another community update.

Since our last update, we have been up to a lot of activities. Last week, we participated in the Seamless West Africa Conference where our team had the opportunity to learn from and interact with other industry leaders in the Fintech West African space. We also have news about upcoming events we would be participating in and exciting news about the Mazzuma app.

SEAMLESS WEST AFRICA

Seamless West Africa is a multi-brand event and strategic conference, which was held in Accra on the 6th and 7th of November 2018, with over 500 attendees. The conference focused on global technology trends and disruptors, how market players can capitalise on the e-commerce opportunities in West Africa and how best to respond to the threats in this field. The conference exhibited content designed to educate and empower commerce leaders to improve strategies as they addressed topics such as fintech disruption to financial inclusion, blockchain and regulatory tech. The conference saw exhibitors and participants from central banks, commercial banks, insurance, e-tailers, telcos, merchants, government, fintechs and tech startups. It also featured the first-ever regional Central Bank Panel which discussed the importance of creating partnerships that safeguard financial stability while working with disruptors and promoting the adoption of fintech innovation.

Mazzuma participated in the conference as an exhibitor and we had a great time interacting with the fintech and e-commerce community in West Africa.

In other news, we will be launching our new and improved app by the end of this quarter! We are very excited to bring you a better experience.

The Mazzuma Token will also be officially listed this quarter. This would be a great move forward for the token and would usher in the beginning of trade with the token.
