Fuqua MBA Mom Discusses what B-Schools can do to attract more women

Genevieve Lupton — October MBA Mama of The Month

In part two of her interview, Genevieve Lupton — a wife, mom, manager at Deloitte Consulting, and a fulltime MBA student — talks about challenges she faces as a mom in an MBA program and how she’s overcome them.

She also discusses what she did in place of an internship and gives her opinion on how B-schools can attract and retain more women who are mothers to their programs.

“The more you can share the mom aspect of who you are with your classmates, the more it enriches your experience and the more it deepens the relationships you build at [school]. I think it’s only been a door opener for me to meet and talk with people about all sorts of topics I wouldn’t have otherwise brought up.”
