MBA Mama LaToya Marc One-Half of First All-Female Ticket Elected to Lead Harvard Business School’s Student Association

Newly elected HBS Class Co-Presidents, Libby Leffler (L) and LaToya Marc (R)

HBS students, Libby Leffler and LaToya Marc, have made history as the first all-female ticket to be elected as Co-Presidents of the HBS Student Association. Libby and LaToya’s platform, “Your Community. Your Voice” aims to deliver an inclusive and enriched HBS experience for all students, HBS partners, and families. They shared their ambitious aspirations with the MBA Mama team last week, and we are honored to support their work. As you may know if you’ve been following our blog, we featured LaToya as our August MBA Mama of the Month. She is a wife and mother of Kingston, her adorable toddler son — check out her profile here.

As approachable and responsive leaders, Libby and LaToya have pledged to listen to the voices of the individuals in the HBS community and leverage relationships with administration to deliver real results. They plan to prioritize fun, community-building events and improve the transition to life at HBS, making it a place where all students feel represented.

As a start-up that aims to change the face of work-life integration and what that means for mothers with MBAs, we applaud LaToya for taking this bold step into leadership. She is now one of the nation’s most visible MBA Mamas in this new role that will shape the culture at one of the world’s top business schools. LaToya, you go girl! We look forward to watching how Libby and LaToya transition into these exciting new roles.
