Kernie Obimakinde — our newest MBA Mama of the Month — recently began the 2nd year of her full-time program at University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Kernie is a mother of one who spent summer 17 in New York City where she worked at Deloitte as a consultant. At Haas, Kernie is a Student Regional Representative for Europe, Middle East and Africa, co-organizer of the 2017 Africa Business Forum, and she serves as the VP of Technology for the MBA Association, Haas’ student government.

Prior to her MBA, Kernie worked in her native Nigeria as a System Interface Manager for Nigeria’s Securities and Exchange Commission. She also spent time working as a Data Analyst at the EU.
