‘Surely, You’re joking Mr.Feynman!’ is a great, easy and funny read about the life of a physics professor and Nobel prize winner. It retells the story of his life, not quite like a biography, but only the funny snippets throughout Feynman’s life.
I starts in his childhood years, with some stories from school and university and then tells his path as a scientist, working for the army in the WW, meeting Einstein, receiving the Nobel prize and teaching himself.
The book does not focus on him being a scientist though, but rather on his entire life and tries to paint a picture of Feynman’s character. It does it really well and let’s him come across as a smart jokester.
