Maybe I’ve been spoilt as I love “Ready Player One”, but I hated Snowcrash. The writing style (btw written a while ago) was too flamboyant, making up new words that exist in the described future. It was difficult to get into and stay on track.
Even though I wasn’t a fan of the book, I can totally imagine it being a great movie as there’s some real nuggets in there and lots of action which would do well in a movie.
There was one quote though which stood out and made me think.
“This Snow Crash thing — is it a virus, a drug, or a religion?”
Juanita shrugs. “What’s the difference?”
