We’re curious people at MCAD Online Learning, and we like to watch videos. And we like to share our favorite videos with you! So here is a batch of recent ones that are so good you should drop what you’re doing to watch now.

One of our new grad assistants, Joi, thinks highly of this video about creative ways to solve math problems. “Using things like doodles and coins makes math way easier to visualize and understand. In addition, the pace of the video keeps the audience’s attention and the presentation is aesthetically pleasing. Overall it’s an inspiring video to me.”

Alex found this fantastic video that theorizes the surprising way people in Medieval times may have walked!

While helping develop an online typography course, Eric came across this illuminating TED-Talk video on overcoming one’s fear of the blank/white page. It really makes you think about the creative process and how it can be healthy to just go for it—mistakes can inform great, inspired work!

Finally, another math-oriented video, this time from James. It’s a fascinating, if confounding, take on, well… infinity. A pair of British phsyicists offer an explanation of the magic of -1/12. Mind blown.
