May 20th-23rd, mCart headed to Las Vegas for ICSC RECon 2018. This is the largest global commercial real estate convention in the world and this year, mCart was chosen as one of only 20 technologies chosen to be showcased as Innovation Concepts in the Grand Lobby of RECON 2018 to over 35,000 attendees.

How mCart Makes Omnichannel Shopping Easy For Malls

Set-up began on Sunday when our shoppable wall, rolled out in May 2018, went up in public for the first time. Designed to bring shoppers the ultimate omnichannel experience, the mCart shoppable wall that allows shoppers to quickly search, filter and browse the mall, communicate with stores’ sale reps and even take the mall home scanning a QR code, soon became the focal point of Innovation Concepts.

mCart technology which can be white-labeled to malls or shopping centers displays all of the property’s tenants in one place, making it easy for shoppers to browse at their leisure. International Crowds Loved mCart

International shopping center owners loved mCart and easily see the potential. Digital shoppers want easier ways to shop and most of all — they want options.

mCart gives shoppers the ability to shop between in-store and online with ease, communicate with in-store sales associates, put items on hold and email or text products to themselves or others. The Shoppers To Watch: Micro-Influencers

One of the most interesting subjects for visitors to our booth was the rise of the micro-influencer. Mall and shopping center owners were eager to hear that through social media, people are exposed to more product than ever and these recommendations and buying-influence stems from family members, friends and co-workers.

While there’s still demand for the latest shoes J.Lo wore on the red carpet, the conversion rate is rising for micro-influencers who already share and plug products on social media. A valuable marketing arm or salesforce can never possibly get capitalized with outdated affiliate platforms. mCart’s Blockchain layer, can automatically incentive millions of micro- macro influencers who convert browsers to shoppers online, making it easy for retailers to see what shoppers are buying based on whose recommendation and allowing influencers to finally see their fair share for prompting purchases.

mCart received significant press during the event including a prominent write-up in the ICSC newsletter following the event.
