Severance.

She couldn’t stop daydreaming, he is out there dozing.
She was flowered with compliments, but his teasings were supplements.
His name pops up, her smile brightens up.
She was stuck in a desert until she discovered he was benevolent.
She is difficult to impress but like a game of chess, the queen was his already.
She had fallen in love.
But had he?
She loved it, he faked it.
She saw infinity with him, while he was at Trinity.
She wanted to grow in love, but he wasn’t even born for it.
She started walking over things which tripped her off.
Reviving those memories make her smile, while the promises tear up.
