She is said to have fire in her eyes, magic in her hands and calmness in her words. She bears inexplicable pain to create new life and yet all you could see, is her smile. Her warmth is comforting to people and she sympathizes with everyone. She is the bridge between man and life. She is the governess of power. She is a woman.

Yet, we all witness the lower pedestal she thrives in, the ruthless killings she goes through. She thinks twice before stepping out in the dark, waiting for the light of dawn to shine on her and ease her anxiety. She is objectified in the lyrics sung. She is judged based on the clothes worn and is considered characterless if the fall of her dress is above her knees. The two legged animal sexually assaults her if found in the night alone and the next day, another tragedy is mourned. Numerous court proceedings later the accused is sentenced but till then hundreds of new “rape victims” are born.

This is the ultimate truth. The face of the society we choose to ignore- the dark ugly truth. Wherein a woman thinks twice before stepping out and a man brutally kills without.

However, if her shackles are broken and she is freed- she can claim the throne for herself and show the world that she is not as fragile as a flower but as fragile as a bomb.
