How do you face tribulation?

Let’s ask Apostle Peter and look at his answers as taught to him by Jesus Christ in 1 Peter.

  1. Rejoice while recognizing that it is a test of faith. Rejoice in the fact your faith is being purified.

1 Peter 1:6–8

  1. Retaliation is not an option.

1 Peter 2:23

  1. Entrust yourself to God and let Him carry you through.

1 Peter 2:23

  1. Do not fear anything. Do not stress over anything

1 Peter 3:14

  1. Look at the time of 3 ½ years of Christ’s ministry. Especially the Garden of Gethsemane to the day of His ascension and follow His example.

1 Peter 3:17–18

  1. Take the attitude Christ has toward suffering onto yourself. Be like our Master.

1 Peter 4:1

  1. Rejoice in participating in our Master’s suffering.

1 Peter 4:12–13

  1. Be ye not ashamed of suffering with Christ.

Mark 8:38 and Luke 9:26

  1. Use this time to commit yourself with Christ.

1 Peter 4:15–16

  1. Do as Christ did and resist. Satan and remember other saints are also suffering so you are not alone.

1 Peter 5:9–10

  1. Anticipate His not the worlds His restoration.

1 Peter 5:10

This is the time your walk should be getting closer to God. A time you realize without God you are NOTHING!!! Then you give it ALL to God and let Him handle it. This is a time to remember what Christ did so we have no right to complain.

He came from Heaven to be born and have a feed trough for a bed. To be ridiculed by his siblings. To sleep on the ground. The only clothing He had He wore. The main way he got anywhere was on foot. Then He was crucified. He an innocent man was beaten, thrown around, spit on, then had to carry His own cross until He collapsed and Steven carried it. He was nailed, not tied, nailed to that cross and died. Went to Hell on purpose took the keys to Hell and death and rose on the third day. Then He stayed for another 40 days and taught endlessly. After 33 years He finally went Home to Heaven. But His work is still not done. He still takes care of us. He weeps over lost souls. He is hurt when His beloved spurn Him and more. With all that is listed above there is always more. What right do we have to complain? We have none. Next time you want to curse or complain ask yourself did Christ? The answer by the way is NOT Christ did NOT. In fact on the cross He asked the Father to forgive us and said we know not what we do. No I mean it exactly as I wrote it. We, Us, etc… even us who was not a twinkle in anyone’s eye 2,000 years ago Christ went through it for ALL of us over that 2,000 plus period.

So how do YOU handle tribulation?
