A Step-by-Step Instruction on How to Trade on MCDEX V3 Testnet

Hot and fresh! MCDEX V3 beta test is officially out! Please follow the steps below to play around with the platform.

Go to, click trade, connect wallet, and change your network to Arbitrum testnet V5(this can be automatically). Test coin will be automatically distributed to your wallet. V3 currently supports an isolated margin system, so there are two steps you will need to complete in order to trade: to deposit and to place the order. Whenever you go to a new market, you need to deposit first to trade.

wallets that currently support

Let’s begin with choosing your trading pair…how does ETH-USDC sound?

(Each perpetual market is permissionlessly created by Operators. Trade at your own risks)

Time to deposit your margin! There are two ways you can do this.

method 1: By clicking the “Deposit” button

  • Put in the amount of USDC you would like to deposit
  • Approve your input by confirming on your wallet (on-chain process)
  • Double-check to make the deposit

method 2: By filling out the amount value

Hurrah! Now confirm your action on the chain

Patiently Wait for the on-chain transaction to complete

Congrats! Now that you have successfully deposited your margin, let’s take a look at how to submit a market order.

  1. Choose the “market” option
  2. Choose the amount you would like to trade and your leverage(up to 50x!)
  3. Proceed to place your order

Now confirm it in the pop-up window.

Now confirm again on your wallet — what makes a dex is super safe

Yayyy! You have placed your ETH-USDC order. You can now check your position and trade history.

Now if you would like to close your position, you will need to do a “market close” operation

Or you can click on the “Sell/Short” button to close your long position

Confirm your action again and you're all set!

MCDEX V3 also supports limit and stop orders:)

MCDEX is a fully decentralized perpetual swap exchange based on Mai Protocol, allowing anyone to create any perpetual market.
