One option for making the most of the Coosa Queen Riverboat with minimal effort is to join the Day Party from Beats Entertainment Booking Agency. The next event will be Saturday, Aug. 24, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Boarding begins at 1:15 p.m., and the boat sets sail at 2 p.m., so get there on time.
This event has space for up to 48 passengers. Entertainment will come via live music by Sherry Reeves on the flute, plus a special guest. You can bring your own food and drink with you. You can get a discount for buying early. Or get a VIP ticket and enjoy reserved seating, a wine basket, and food platters. If you can’t make the August event, there are also similar ones planned for Sep. 1 and Oct. 19.
