MEA 300 ASSIGNMENT 1

Persona 5 is a game that im currently playing and its action RPG with exploration, stealth mechanics visual novel mechanics and turn based combat.

Remaining Hidden from Enemies

  • Persona 5’s combat comes from sneak attacks, pressing x near objects keeps you hidden from eneimes. Keepin out of sight keeps a attention metter from filling once filled you will be forced to escape and lose a day to complete the level.

Sneak Attacks and Rewards

  • While sneaking once a enemy comes near a action prompt will appear over their heads. Allowing you to prompt a sneak attack and have a guaranteed attack on the first turn. Successfully killing a enemy during a sneak attack will lower your attention meter.

The Dialouge and Choices

  • Persona 5 also having a visual novel esthetic have you bond with your teamates and different faces along the way. Before or after the combat section players have the choice to free roam the small section of Japan to either gather supplies for the combat sections, do a job to farm money and bulid stats doing activities. Bonding with characters give you points for whats called a “confidant”, confidants when built to a certain level gives abilites and bonuses. Bonuses like insta-kills on sneak attacks, switching party members, boosting chances for critcal hits.
