Recently played game
Hello! So the game I played during the summer is a mobile game titled PUBG mobile. This game is available for download for free for both iOS and Android. In my opinion, I think this game is really addicting because of it’s concept, challenges, and because no other game has been this addicting before. Therefore, I will demonstrate the goals, obstacles, and rewards that make up the game.
Goals
Basically, this game is falls under the battle royal genre. The main goal of these type of games is to become the last man standing. Yep that's right. When playing these type of games, it is your job to survive and outlast the other opponents. It may sound difficult but lots of practice and knowledge helps out a lot. But if going solo intimidates you, then you can always opt in for duos or squad matches. That way you can always have a partner to watch your back. Only this time, you and your partner(s) need to be the last team standing.
Okay with all that explained, we can now continue discussing about PUBG Mobile. For this game, your main goal is to win something called a “chicken dinner”. This will be your trophy when you finally become last man or team standing. Once you win, you will see a victory screen as shown below.
Rewards
Congratulations! You have finally won your first chicken dinner. But what else did you win? Oh yeah you also won battle point coins! If you look at top screenshot again and look under the word “dinner”, you are going to see 659 Battle Coins has been rewarded to the players. Their main purpose is to be used as payment to buy in game cosmetics and clothing's for your in game character. These are pretty much the only things you can purchase for now.
Obstacles
Now, the only real challenge that will prevent you from getting that chicken dinner are your enemies. The players that you will be competing against are real time players from around the world. Each of them will also be willing to do everything they can to become the last one standing. They will try to kill you if they land eyes on you. This is why you should never let your guard down. Always check your surroundings. Keep in mind that you will be facing against 99 other players.
There is also another challenge that appears in the form of a safe zone. This zone is an important mechanic in the game that is used to push the players closer together. That way more gun fights can be made to keep the game interesting. However, this zone is also a threat to players because if you remain outside of the safe zone then you will be affected by a blue haze that is known to be the blue zone. Players who remain in that zone will slowly take damage until they die. The smaller the safe zone becomes the more damage players will receive in the blue zone.
