Yu Narukami form the game persona 4/golden design to be a quiet transfer student that doesn’t like to negotiate with others in the school

but through out the game we can see the character development in him as he meet more character and talk to them, being friends or romantic relationship with them and how the option we choose reflects on the story

how realistic each character react to Yu(our) action is fantastic and reflects on who You have become. ‘Facing your real self’ is the concept of this game and if Yu were a real person it would actually be like in the game where he will be the one who open up to others and help his friend search and accept form their real self.
