1606 Chocolate Stout

Brew Day

A small brew, two demijohns only, as my main fermenters are in use. A bit of a problem with the mash getting stuck, but nothing that couldn’t be overcome. First time that I have used Chocolate, Cocoa and Vanilla in a brew.

Brewed 1st June 2016, with some ingredients that I’ve not used for brewing before.

Time for a Nightcap

The end of a not very good week, including a 16hrs shift. Over 24hrs since I’ve seen my bed, time for a little nightcap.

The Stout has turned out very well indeed.
