Introducing Mealby new beta version
You probably met us 3 months ago at the UPRISE festival when we were announcing our new beta version to thousand of awesome people passionate about innovation and interested in our concept. Maybe you were one of the early adopters during our pilot program in Amsterdam or maybe you just heard about us now. In any case we are sure you’ll be happy to know that we are finally ready to launch our new beta version.
Mealby new beta version will introduce a whole new experience for both cooks and customers, and we have completely revamped the functionality.
Meals are sold based on cooks’ availability.
Cooks are now able to set their own schedule defining when they are able to cook, what they can cook and how many people they can serve. This way they are able to better predict demand and provide a better and more reliable service at a more reasonable price. Customers will know in advance who is available to cook for them so they can place orders being sure that food will be served on time.
Homemade food for take-away or delviery.
Although we are not able to offer deliver yet, we have received many applications from passionate food entrepreneurs who are able to prepare and deliver wholesome and unique homemade meals to people in their neighborhood. In the new Mealby beta version, cooks are able to offer their own delivery service by setting their own price, distance and time-slots. Customers may choose to take away their food or have it delivered at their location during the checkout of their order.
Online payments.
We are partnering with one of the best payment service providers in Europe Mollie, which enables us to collect payments with iDEAL, credit cards and debita cards in a secure and easy way.
Bite points discounts.
You may have collected some bite points in the past months with any of our vouchers or by inviting your friends. Bite points are Mealby’s way to reward the best foodies, thus all points can be exchange for credit to get homemade food. By offering discounts to the best foodies and encouraging them to order healthy and delicious homemade food we are building a convenient marketplace for both cooks and consumers.
