Mealime version 3.0 went live in the App Store this week. Check out what’s new:

1. Introducing the Mealime iPad App!

With this release, Mealime is optimized for an iPad sized screen for the first time. We find that the best time to take advantage a larger screen is while cooking. So Mitch Crowe and team worked on a new layout for the Cooking Mode that would take advantage of the larger screen space by letting you see all the instructions on a single page:

New: Expanded Cooking Mode View for iPad
  • Remember that you can use your same login on multiple devices, so if you jump from your phone to your tablet, all of your meal plans and recipes will be there waiting!

2. Apple Health Integration

Share your nutrition information with Apple Health! By popular demand, we’ve made it super easy to push nutritional info from Mealime to Apple Health. As you complete a recipe, simply push [Save to Apple Health], and the nutritional contents for a single serving of that recipe will get transferred.

In this way, it becomes convenient for users to consolidate all of their nutritional info on Apple Health. Or, if you prefer, from Apple Health it becomes easy to share nutritional info to other platforms, such as MyFitnessPal or Fitbit.

Other Items

  • As per usual, this update included performance enhancements.
  • As with all of our new releases, we want your feedback! Hop on over to the Mealime Community page and share your ideas, or just let us know what you think!
