In today’s newsletter from Joe Hill in a section entitled “Comic Relief” the author indicates that he plans to make some changes to his newsletter, Escape Hatch:

Stay tuned, though. I have an idea to hopefully make this newsletter a bit more fun and to give people more of a reason to read it. It’ll take me a while to pull together, but when I do, I might even shift to firing issues of Escape Hatch off more frequently (weekly?). Look for something inmmmmmaybe December? It’ll take me some time to lay the foundation for what I have in mind.

Hill declines to specify what changes would be made, but hints that the section’s title (“Comic Relief”) offers a clue:

And no, I don’t think I ought to say much about my intentions. Except that the clue is right there in the title of this section.

Given the section’s title and Hill’s notable work on such comics as Locke & Key and Tales from the Darkside, is Hill hinting that his future newsletters will include comics?

While the possibility of comics in Escape Hatch is currently unconfirmed, interested Hill fans can sign up for his newsletter here: www.joehillfiction.com
