Biweekly Updates: MDT Wallet Successfully Integrates With MailTime

1.The development of MDT Wallet is going pretty well! Our engineering team has finished developing home page, auto login, retrieve password with two-factor authentication and other functions as well as fixing bugs in push and pop animation.
2. The engineering team has accomplished MDT Wallet integration with MailTime iOS version. Now they are wrapping up the backend developing of cash out function.
3. MDT’s data synchronization system has been optimized to speed up data syncing. For now, the system is capable of syncing 115 million data points per hour.
4. MailTime on iOS system has been updated to 2.6.11 version with new function of MDT Red Packet, which is a new bounty campaign. You need to get an physical blue packet as the first step to successfully claim $MDT via MailTime.
Now we are distributing the blue packet at MDT Talks, the series meet-up about blockchain in China.
In addition, MailTime’s brand new Android version now could be found on Tencent App Store.

We are so excited that Ken Wong, an Hong Kong-based veteran mobile application developer joins MDT as Engineering Manger. He will be mainly focused on optimizing MDT’s very own MailTime app as well as making it handier.
Ken was one of the first generations of iOS app developers. With 12 years experience of working in leading tech companies such as Apple Daily E-Classified Limited, MTel Limited and Green Tomato Limited, Ken has designed, created and developed a bunch of popular apps, including Apple Sales, TalkBox, Tickalook and so on. He is not only a seasoned software engineer obsessed with cutting-edge technologies, but also a resourceful technical executives good at managing teams.

1. We are so proud that the first three stops of MDT Talks took off! Many experienced entrepreneurs, leaders, investors, and former politicians attended the meet-up in Chengdu, Hangzhou and Shanghai for the past two weeks. MDT Co-Founder Heatherm Huang, MDT Product Designer Aoni Wang, famous angel investor Chandler Guo, Marketing Executives from GXC and so on shared their stories and insights in blockchain industry during the meet-up.
Besides panels, MDT Talks features heated debates themed around controversial issues in the industry, such as “ Public Blockchain or blockchain applications, which one should be the first”. The debates were so inspiring that a lot of audience couldn’t help to joining in them.
MDT Talks was so popular that it magnetized hundreds of blockchain supporters and enthusiasts to participate. Some of them even came from foreign countries.
We got great feedbacks from our dear audience, who saw MDT Talks as “the most innovative, practical and down-to-earth blockchain event.” In return, all of the participants left with a packet of special gifts carefully designed by MDT designers.
This weekend, MDT Talks will be hosted in Shenzhen, one of the most developed city in China that have an open mind to embrace blockchain industry. Executives from leading blockchain corporations will address the audience during the meet-up and tell the untold stories of their personal experience in this field.
2. Last week during MDT Tallks, MDT informed hundreds of audience of our determination to participate TRON Super Representative Election, and firmly stressed that we would bust a gut in the next two months to win the election via live streaming.
Given our tremendous efforts to prepare the election, MDT has been ranked as top candidate for TRON Super Representative Election for seven days in a row. We will keep leveraging every possible resource to get us fully ready for the final election in June!
3. MDT was invited to attend the 10th Entrepreneur Day hosted by Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Themed around “aggregating motivations for entrepreneurs”, this event provided a valuable opportunity for 270 startups to showcase their products and services.
MDT COO Charlie Sheng demoed during the event and shared MDT’s story of starting a business from scratch in Hong Kong and Silicon Valley. She also introduced how MDT would rewards users for sharing anonymized data. Her speech sparked audiences’ great interests in MDT, and attracted attentions from mainstream media such as Hong Kong Economic Times.
4.MailTime, the first use case of MDT ecosystem, accepted a follow-up interview by 4YFN as the winner of The 4YFN Startup of the Year award at Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2017. Last year, MailTime beat a bunch of peer startups by neat design, niche product positioning and promising business plan that wielded blockchain technology to expand the existing business model.
Since Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry, wining this award means a lot for MailTime. The team has been working on advancing and optimizing the app since then. Thanks to 4YFN, the MailTime team also got the chance to showcase MailTime and MDT to global market in Barcelona this year. MailTime’s story was chosen by ESADE business school from Barcelona as a study case, which will later be published on their study material.
