MDT Updates: 2020 May — Week 3: Data Reward System Updates
Every Thursday, the MyMDT data wallet Dapp sends data rewards to users enrolled in the MDT ecosystem, and we call it ”Data Reward Thursday ”.
Due to a system update of this week, data rewards distribution was delayed until Sunday.This week, the data wallet MyMDT Dapp maintained its 10th place in the Ethereum Dapp ranking, according to the third-party Dapp data platform Dapp. Review and Dapp Radar.
Development
- Development of the brand new” independent app”
Since February 2020, the MDT team have initiated a new project to enrich our data reward ecosystem — a new app featuring data monetization with the concept of “Data Cahsback”.
The new product is still unnamed. To facilitate the communication of weekly reports to our community, it is temporarily called “the Independent App”.
The app is also open-sourced when developing, check out out Github page: https://github.com/measurabledatatoken/mymdt-mobile
Progress this week:
- Optimize GraphQL data import
2. The first group of parsers supported by the new independent app completes its first time of code review and optimization
3. The flow of users joining the independent app has been integrated
4. The React Native SDK has completed its first phase of integration, and testing will begin this week
5. The official website of the independent new app completes the framework design, and web copy writing starts this week
6. The UI design section continues to be optimized this week

The BD team reached an initial cooperation plan with two data service providers focusing on consumer data in emerging markets. Recently, the MDT ecosystem is attracting many data service providers that enter into alternative data services. MDT provides such data service providers with a complete data reward solution: not only can it attract users of other data providers to actively participate in data sharing , it can also ensure the security and efficiency of data trading.
