Mech Master Game has been developed as a combination of turn-based strategy and card game where players will take turns to control their Mechas to move and attack the opponents. So, how are the rules and order of Mecha actions in each team?

1. Mechas’ turns overview

Mechas’ Turns (or action turns) are moves or attacking turns of Mechas in battles. 1 turn will last for a maximum of 20 seconds. When players take 1 move action and 1 ability action, their turn will end. Players can choose not to take those actions and actively end their turn by clicking the “end turn” button.

During 20 seconds of that turn, if the player does not make any moves or attacks in time, the action turn will be forfeited.

Master Turn is the moment when all alive Mechas have taken at least 1 turn. Therefore, the less Mecha remaining, the earlier the Master Turn will end. When a master turn is completed, events on the map will take place. For example, Mechas’ score in the center zone will be calculated.

2. How will the order of Mechas’ turns be regulated?

All Mechas in a battle move on the same timeline. Differently from other strategy games, the order and number of Mechas’ actions are not fixed but depend on Mechas’ ATB (Attack Time Battle) stats. Mechas’ ATB is proportional to its speed (SPD). Mecha speed is displayed right on the basic information of them. It is clear that the players who own Mechas with a high SPD will have an advantage in terms of turns in battles.

Whenever ATB stats hit 1, Mecha gets an action turn. After the Mecha takes that action, its ATB stats will go back to 0, and it will keep rolling until the ATB hits 1 again. This process will repeat until the Master turn ends.

In case the ATB of 2 Mechas are equal, the action turn will belong to whichever Mecha meets the following two sub-factors respectively:

- Having a higher mobility stat
- Having a smaller ID

3. What are Mechas able to do in each turn?

Take the moving action

One Mecha can move one time only in every turn. The distance Mecha can move, which is shown by the blue terrain cells, will be based on their mobility stats. The players will not be able to move further after confirming their move in that turn.

Take the ability actions

In addition to the moving action, players can also use one ability action. That ability action can be activating weapon ability (mostly attack abilities) or activating Mecha ability (buffing and attacking abilities).

Note: If the Mecha does not use up all the allowance of actions, the player will be returned 0.25 ATB per unused action.

There are only a few more days until the Public Testnet campaign of Mech Master officially starts. In the meantime, we will constantly update new articles about game rules so that players can draw up a smart strategy for the battles. Remember to pore over all of episodes of “MECHOPEDIA — all about Mech Master Game” because a good preparation can bring you the victory, surely.
