What is a Nitro Item?
A Nitro Item is the object that grants Mecha a speed boost in the Moon Race Event for a certain amount of time. This boost is similar to the first 7 days Nitro Boost provided when initially joining the race. The ultimate goal of Nitro is to help Mecha gain a huge advantage over the other competitors in the Moon Race Event.
Items Categorization
Being effective for 5 hours since integration, Nitro Speed Boost comes in different levels, from level 1 up to level 5. As shown in the following table, the amount of speed gained by Mechas using Nitro Item varies among levels.
For instance: Nitro level 1 will make Mecha run faster by 10% while Nitro level 5 will bring an insane 400% increase in Mecha speed.
Items Crafting
Players are able to merge 2 Nitro items at the same level into one at a higher level. Upgrading Nitro items will lead to a greater speed boost than the previous one, giving an advantage against competitors. Crafting fee is fixed at 5 $MECH per time. 60% of which will be added to the prize pool, and the rest will be distributed to developers.
For example: 2 (Nitro Lv.1 items) + (Crafting Fee: 5 $MECH) = 1 Nitro Lv.2 item.
How does Nitro effect Mecha ’s current speed?
The speed of Mecha is calculated by the following formula:
Speed = Base Speed + (Speed Boost * Nitro Speed)
Speed Boost = Staking amount *100 / 8760
The Base Speed is fixed at 302 km/h
Nitro Speed = 100% + Nitro Effect
For example : If you add 1000 $MECH, and have a Nitro Level 4, your Mecha Speed Boost will be: 1000*100/8760 = 11.415, and the speed will be: 302+11.415*(100%+ 200%) = 336.245 km/h.
It is easy to see that Speed Boost is proportional to staking amount, and Nitro speed depends on Nitro levels which can be upgraded by “Items Crafting”.
Items Usage
Even though there is an unlimited quantity of Nitro, this item works exclusively within the Moon Race Event. It’s also note-worthy that Nitro only exerts effect on staked tokens of its owner and not on staked tokens of other Mecha co-investors.
For example: A is Mecha’s owner, while B and C are Mecha’s investors. Yet only B uses Nitro level 1 (with a fixed fee of 5 $MECH), B will receive a 10% speed buff for his/her staked tokens for 5 hours. In the meantime, A and C’s speed doesn’t change due to not using any items.
In order for Mechas to cool down, each of them can only use one Nitro item for every 24 hours. This means that after feeding a Nitro Speed Boost to a Mecha, players can no longer add more Nitro to that racer within the duration of 24 hours. Therefore, players will have to choose wisely which level of Nitro items to use.
