At this point in time, all global and local Mech Master communities are being bombarded with burning questions about Moon Race. We love it because it reaffirms the overwhelming support for the project. On the other day, a brief reward overview was released to our channels. And to keep all Mech Master enthusiasts updated, this article will deliver comprehensive information about the juicy rewards in the upcoming Moon Race event. Let’s dig deeper through each of them!

Who can join the race?

If you are an investor who stakes $MECH tokens in participating Mechas, you are entitled to more fruitful $MECH as well-deserved rewards for supporting competitors.

On the other hand, if you are a Mecha owner, you will get priority over all else with plenty of scarce and precious rewards besides $MECH tokens.

So which specific rewards are waiting for you in the Moon Race?

For Mecha owners

There are 2 groups of rewards designed for racers who own Mechas: Battle Pass Rewards, and Ranking Rewards. Both of them enclose items that carry pilot — one of the exclusive rewards for Mecha owners.

There will be 1,000 gorgeous pilots to be dropped along with the Moon Race. In order of rarity, the pilot crew is divided into 5 varieties, ranging from Normal to Ultra Rare. The table below summarizes all the information needed about the pilot’s rarity:

1. Battle Pass Rewards

Battle Pass Rewards are the rewards you will gain when your Mechas finish certain laps in Moon Race. This kind of reward contains 5 sub-categories: Portal, Profile, Decorative (title & frame), Infuser, and Medal items.

1.1. Portal — the item that certainly carries a pilot

Portal is a first come first served item that appears in 4 laps on Light Holders line and 5 laps in Strong Holders line. 62 portals can be boiled down to 5 levels. As a portal gives early arrivers at least a Normal pilot (even before the game launch), it can be seen as the most wanted item in the race. Therefore, players need to boost their Mechas’ speeds to obtain this reward. The infographics below will give you deep insights into them:

For example, if you choose Light Holder and finish lap number 7, you will receive a portal level 1 which discloses either a Normal pilot or a rare pilot. There will be 20% chances of a Rare pilot, and 80% of a Normal one in this portal level.

1.2. Profile — the item that discloses either a pilot or a number of $MECH tokens

Being slightly different to a portal, a profile is an item that can accommodate pilots and $MECH tokens, but one or the other at a time. In the Light Holders line, the final lap that pinpoints a profile is the lap number 79. In contrast, there is no highest lap locating a profile in Strong Holders, but the sequence goes on every fixed number of laps thereafter. Please refer to the above list for detailed figures.

1.3. Title, Frame, and Infuser — the value-added items for your Mechas

Since Mechas are the highly beneficial NFTs even before Moon Race, it’s a great idea to glaze them up during the event and possibly trade them in the Mech Master game market for an upscale price. In order to do that, Mechers can collect the 3-level decorative items including frame and title in the Battle Pass Rewards, then use an infuser to upgrade those items to the next level. The pictures below help visualize these worthwhile rewards:

1.4. Medal — the exclusive items to racers who finish 3 special laps

To honour the excellent Mechas completing the lap numbers 90, 120, and 150, Moon Race gives every successful racer a special medal at each of those laps. The medal is not only a decorative item like frame and title but also considered a certificate of outstanding achievement in a one-time event. This alone may boost your Mechas’ value multiple times compared to their initial prices. The 3 treasurable medals are illustrated in the picture as below:

2. Ranking Rewards

The moment of glory will be much more memorable if you get pilots or $MECH tokens from Ranking Rewards. Your Mechas will be rewarded if they are among the top 20 runners of the Moon Race. These rewards will be sent directly to your wallets, based on precise information stated in the following graph:

For Mecha investors

Owning a Mecha isn’t the only way to compete in the Moon Race. You can hold $MECH only and still invest in the runners. But if you own a Mecha and you are the only investor in your racing Mecha, you will yield 100% benefits after the Moon Race ends. Meanwhile, provided that there is one or more than one investor supporting your Mecha, the total worth of the prize will be divided based on the relative contribution percentage in the cohort, which refers to Mecha/$MECH tokens supplies and investing durations. However, please note that only 20 top Mechas will earn Investor Rewards for your team.

Moon Race Reward distribution

The Moon Race reward pool will be 1,000,000 $MECH minimum, including 20% for Battle Pass, 30% for Ranking, and 50% for Guild which is coming soon. Moreover, in the upcoming sub-events within the race, there will be spontaneous $MECH tokens to be added to the overall reward pool.
