Clip Library Enhancements

We just want to kick things off by saying we get it. Lag is frustrating af and your time is extremely important. Our goal is to continue being the best game recorder app ever, and all the cool features in the world don’t matter if things aren’t running smoothly. We’ve doubled down this update to prioritize performance, lag reduction, and clip library enhancements.

See who watched your clips

If you have 5 or more followers, you can engage with your viewers by seeing who watched your clip, and reach out to them! To check, all you have to do is click the eye icon on any of your clips.

Pinned Comments

Did a viewer leave a hilarious comment that perfectly sums up your clip? Or maybe people keep demanding to know your crosshair settings or OSU! skins and you’re tired of answering the same question over and over again in the comments. Well now you can choose which comment is seen first with pinned posts. Pin any comment under your video by hovering over the comment and clicking the star.

Mobile

Better mobile sharing

Do you have clips you want to share with the world? Sharing to your favorite social networks is now easier than ever. Share to TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat , etc directly from Medal with the press of a button.

Disabling Recorder on Android

If you don’t want to record on Android, just disable the recorder from running in your settings.

Wider badge support

Badges are a big deal and should be shown off everywhere. Now, all of your hard earned badges, and everyone else’s, are now visible everywhere in the app.

Other Cool Stuff —

• See @’s in comment. Click on the tagged user for more information on them.

Performance improvements

• Smoother scrolling throughout the app. Notifications, profile pages, game pages, and comments
• Clips loop more seamlessly
• Improved animation switching from a list view to a grid view on profile pages

Improvements and Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where Follow/Share would overlap on game pages
• Comments will no longer overlap with clip titles
• Copy link would sometimes result in the link not being copied, that’s now not the case and you can copy anything you want to copy over into another place where you can paste what you copied which is now actually what you copied and not what you didn’t copy, copy?
