Welcome to House of Medallion community digest: a members-only resource for the most forward-thinking leaders in music and technology.

April was a landmark month for both our artists and product. We’re thrilled to announce that Mt. Joy launched their Astrofam community (exclusively through show live check-ins), while Greta Van Fleet saw over 10,000 mints in less than 24hrs on their first drop, and ILLENIUM and Sigur Ros released special edition albums utilizing our digital deluxe format — setting a new standard for community exclusive experiences. We’ve also amped up our social experience in Studio, bringing artists and fans together to directly connect and engage with trending content.

COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Mt. Joy — ASTROFAM :: Mt. Joy unveiled their new ASTROFAM community for their most devoted superfans. To kick things off, fans who attended their Spring 2023 Tour checked into shows via QR code to claim a “golden ticket” where one fan per show was selected to receive a pair of tickets to a future Mt. Joy headline show.

Greta Van Fleet — Electric Tomb :: To celebrate the release of their latest single, Meeting The Master, Greta Van Fleet offered fans in Electric Tomb a chance to claim a free lyric collectible. Fans who collected could then piece together the lyrics prior to release. The drop drummed up excitement for the new single with over 10,000 fans claiming the lyric collectible in Electric Tomb in less than 24hrs.

My Morning Jacket — One Big Family :: My Morning Jacket has released a limited edition digital deluxe release of MMJ Live Vol. 3: Bonnaroo 2004 (Return to Thunderdome) Digital Deluxe. Collectors unlock access to stream and download high-quality audio files of the live set, which will be available on the street release date of June 9th. Additionally, fans who purchased received an exclusive Bonnaroo 2004 digital zine, which offers an immersive visual experience to accompany the music.

Tycho — Open Source :: Tycho announced the Golden States festival in Downtown Napa this July, with Open Source members getting first presale access and first access to the lineup before its public reveal. Tycho also released the Golden States Collector Bundle, including a signed physical Golden States poster, limited edition animated digital poster, first access to official afterparty tickets and more.

Palaye Royale — Royal Council :: Palaye Royale released The Bastards Tarot Cards pack as a limited edition physical + digital bundle. All purchasers receive a physical pack signed by the band, as well as digital versions of the cards to collect, share + express themselves in studio and across their online channels.

ILLENIUM — Phoenix Family :: ILLENIUM launched a 48 hour only sale of his Season Pass 001 exclusively to Phoenix Family. Selling over 1,000 Season Passes, fans gained collector benefits and access such as a custom 1of1 digital jersey avatar, a special Phoenix Family physical patch, merch fast lane on tour, 20% webstore discount, and exclusive unlocked content.

ILLENIUM followed his season pass release with three digital deluxe editions of his brand new self-titled fifth album, out today. Fans can either collect both FIRE and ICE editions or pair up with other Phoenix Family members to unlock the exclusive ASH edition. All collectors received access to stream and download the new album, exclusive digital artwork, and a sneak peek of a scene from the upcoming ILLENIUM movie.

Sigur Rós — Heimr :: To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Kveikur, Sigur Rós has launched a limited edition (2,013 editions) digital album collection. Kveikur collectors who purchased the album unlocked a digital artwork collectible featuring one of the 20 designs originally created for the album’s release. Collectors also received Kveikur Smábók digital zine, which includes all 20 artworks, including 9 from the album cover and 11 additional original artworks.
