Announcing completion of MedCredits alpha release

Nearly three months ahead of schedule, we are excited to provide a demo of the alpha release of the MedCredits teledermatology dapp! Using this dapp, a patient can receive an affordable medical recommendation from a dermatologist anywhere in the world within minutes without any middlemen. That is, true peer-to-peer healthcare.

Note that unlike traditional telemedicine apps, there are no fees aside from the gas fees consumed by the smart contracts. Additionally, all images are stored on IPFS’s decentralized network. The smart contract uses the following logic:

We want to get the community involved in testing the dapp. To that end, we will start rolling out access to the dapp on the Ropsten testnet upon request.

Are you a doctor?

We are now actively developing the token-curated physician registry which will allow MEDX token holders to onboard physicians to the platform. However, for now, if you are a licensed physician, we will manually onboard you to the physician registry. Please contact us and we will ensure that you are promptly added to the world’s first decentralized global physician registry.
