How did you end up working at MedEngine?
Ever since I graduated from Industrial Design, I wanted to be able to work somewhere where I knew I was providing value for users. Being able to work in the MedTech field or healthcare sector was a personal will of mine, so when I found MedEngine I immediately applied.
Why did you choose to become a designer?
I became an Industrial/Strategic/Product Designer because I wanted to improve how users interact with products and services in their everyday life. My favourite part of being a designer is to be able to listen to people’s stories and discover their needs through what they tell me.
What would you say you are most proud of?
Being able to speak new languages and adapt to different cities and cultures in a short period of time. I did an internship in Beijing and could already order food and taxis in Chinese within my 3 months stay there. Now that I’ve lived in Berlin for 3 years, I can now say that I’m a fluent speaker! I’m just always curious and very eager to learn! 😊

What’s the best part about working at MedEngine?
The team and the product we’re all building together. I really share the team’s enthusiasm with regards to the impact we’re working to make.

What skill would you like to learn or develop in the future?
I want to develop my skills in understanding how user behaviour is affected by their environment and how it can be improved by the use of technology.
