Critical design Round I

Last week, our critical design challenge group host our first meeting last week. We were going to design a imagined world, in which we want to be, would to be, believe to be, must to to be.

The first steps, we pitched couples of facts or ideas, and wrote it down on the whiteboard. In addition, we put some note with negative and positive symbol. And them we tried to classify them into different kinds of categories. Therefore, we linked those relevant ideas together and used different color pens to distinguish the categories.

Our team is working on extending the thoughts under the five kinds of categories.

After the first pitching round, we listed 5 main direction. There are government, environmental, systems, violence and technology. At this time, we can add any thought as well.

The third round is voting round. We set up two round’s voting procedure. First round, every teammates, with 5 ticket, could vote for the thoughts on the lists. After that, we left some more interesting ideas. And in the second round, Guns/Drugs won the voting!
