Co-founder and principal of The SecDev Group appearing on Panel 8: Prevention Dec.3, 12:15–13:30
Rafal Rohozinski is the co-founder and principal of Canadian data-centric consultancy The SecDev Group. He is an expert in the fields of information security, cyber warfare and the globalization of armed violence.
Prior to co-founding SecDev, Rohozinski spent 17 years working in 37 countries, including conflict zones in the former Soviet Union, the Middle East and Africa. He has has lectured to military and intelligence audiences, held several fellowships and academic appointments, and his many publications include the Ghostnet study of Chinese cyber-espionage in 2009.
Rohozinski will present as part of the Prevention panel Dec. 3 from 12:15 to 13:30. His focus will be on violent extremist narratives and social media.
