Since I was born and raised in the Philippines, I want to share how important the English language in the Filipino culture. In our culture, we use English as our second language. The study also conducted to the conclusion that code-switching or Taglish (Tagalog-English) is usual among English-speaking Filipinos. Eventually, more English expertise was indicated with people who are richer or who attended private schools more than who are not. I chose to do an interview for one of my friends who was born in the Philippines but raised in the US. I’m planning to take like an interview on how he still speaks Filipino language or Tagalog fluently and understands it although they moved to the US when he was little.
